New Kitchen Installation in Eastbourne
The project
Our customers live in the Old Town part of Eastbourne. They were looking to create more living space and wanted to make the most of the room they had. Their children are growing and needed space to do their college work and they wanted one central and larger space, to live in. eat together and spend time as a family.
We took down the wall between the old kitchen and dining room, to grow the space available for them, which increases the light as well as opening up the room.
A beam was required to support the rooms above and we dropped the ceiling down to fully cover the beam and ensure a seamless finish. The original chimney was also removed.
The solution
We have installed a beautiful Schüller Elba kitchen, with Old Oak Barrique effect worktop and stunning Kardean flooring to finish the look.
With high quality integrated appliances, this new kitchen looks stunning but will give many years of maintenance free living.

We were wanting to have a dramatic change to our kitchen and dining area involving walls removed and doorways blocked up to make an open plan space. We called Refined Design as we had spoken to several of his previous customers and they were all singing his praises. They designed us a fantastic new kitchen layout and then his team pulled out all the stops to make it a reality. We are absolutely thrilled with the end product and we have already commissioned them to build some bespoke wardrobes for us in our bedroom!
As part of a whole farmhouse makeover, this kitchen has just been renovated in beautiful Alfriston.
