Laminate is a material well-known for worktop usage due to its durability and ease of care. Schuller can supply laminate worktops up to 5.1 metres in length thus reducing joints. As the current fashion trend in kitchens is to have matching units and worktops it is good practise to choose both from the same manufacturer to ensure accurate colour matching.

Another option would be to use a composite worktop, which is made from 90% natural quartz and then colourings and resins are added.
